Using 223 nickel plated brass has many benefits when you are out shooting on the range or hunting. Many shooters swear by it over brass casings. Like with all nickel plated brass casings they are more resistant to corrosion, they are easier to load into magazines because, and many shooters simply prefer the appearance of a nickel plated casing with their bullets.
When it comes to using 223 nickel plated brass for reloading there are some things to be aware of. We are Reloaders too and while we do our best to hand-inspect all of our casings before shipping them out to you, we always suggest that you inspect the casings as well.
Nickel plated brass can split more often than regular brass, so be sure to thoroughly inspect it prior to reloading. Also, be careful with your dies and be on the look out for flaking from the casings.
