Description
Remember the famous 1986 FBI Miami shootout where two bank robbers killed two “out gunned” FBI agents? Well this is what spurred the development of the 10mm auto. Slinging a 200 grain bullet at 1200 FPS would certainly have turned the tables that day. The agents killed had 9mm semi autos and 38 revolvers. The bad guys had a shotgun and a Mini 14. So the 10mm auto was developed and adopted by the FBI for a short time to make sure no agent was ever out gunned again.
