At The Brass King, we make it very easy for you to earn money for your once fired brass. Many gun ranges require that you pick up your bullet shell casings, so why not sell it to us and put some money in your pocket. We accept most cartridges ranging from 22LR to 50BMG and everything in between. You don’t have to sort or clean the brass, we will take care of all of that for you. We pay an ultra competitive payout of $1.80 per pound for your brass. Simply follow the instructions below and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

To Sell Us Your Brass

Step 1
Collect Your Bullet Shell Casings

After you are done shooting at the range, pick up all of your brass and take it home with you. There is no minimum of brass you need to collect to sell to us.

Fill Out Our Online Quote Form

Once you have collected your brass that you would like to sell to us, fill out our form below. We will use this information to initiate the sale. We will followup with you via email or with a call.

Ship Your Casings To Us

We suggest placing the casings in a strong plastic bag before placing in a shipping box. Visit your local United States Postal Office, UPS or FedEx store for your best shipping options. You are responsible for the shipping costs to ship the casings to us.

Cash Your Check

Once we receive your casings, we will weigh them and determine your total payout. From there we will mail you a Check.

We offer a very competitive rate of $1.80 per pound.

Once you have shipped your brass to us, it typically takes USPS 2-4 business days to deliver to get it to us. Or depending on the shipping method you choose, it can take longer for us to receive the casings. 

Once we do receive the casings, our team will process your brass and weigh it. We will determine your final payout and mail you a check. Whole process typically takes 5 to 11 business days. 

We do all of our shipping through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and use their Flat Rate Boxes. The boxes are free and usually readily available at your local post office. So it is a good idea  to start your shipping process at your local USPS.

Depending on how many pounds of casing you are sending us will determine which size box you will need.  In some cases, you may need a larger box than the Flat Rate boxes, so work with your local USPS office to find the most reasonable method of shipping the casings to us. 

Or visit you local UPS or FedEx stores for  a quote on shipping. 

Either method you choose, you will be responsible for the shipping costs.

Absolutely, we will clean and sort the brass.

While it is not necessary, it is greatly appreciated. If you do not want to sort it prior to shipping to us, no worries we will take care of that for you.

We also suggest that you secure the outside of the boxes corners with extra tape.

Yes. If your once fired casings are mostly nickel, please give us a call. You may be eligible for a premium payout. 

There is no minimum amount of casings you need to sell to us. With our ultra competitive rate of $1.80 per pound, even selling us smaller quantities of casings can be worth it to you. 

Unfortunately, at this time we do not offer store credit.

We do not accept Steel or Aluminum.
